devotion

LATE AMENDMENT:

'devotion' is now a one day workshop on Sunday 30th November only, from 12 - 7 pm.

Ruth will still be joining us with her beloved cello, and the focus of the workshop will remain with the art of surrendering to love.

The revised cost is £60, or £40 concessions. There is an additional £5 off these prices for holders of weekly class passes (the pass must be valid on the date of the workshop).

The venue remains Red Eric Studios. To book your place, call Ben asap on 07779 487093.

(This change is due to the low number of bookings for the two day workshop which meant it was not viable)

A two day workshop featuring live cello.

What are you most passionate about?
What, or who are you devoted to?
Is it your children?
Your job?
Your lover?
Your art?
Your god?
Something indefinable?
Or do you long to find something worthy of devotion in a world where nothing is sacred?

Can you become an offering, surrender to that which you love, and give of yourself freely?

Can you trace the shadows too, the places where instead of surrender comes abandonment, in place of offering comes expectation?

Guilded by the raw power and beauty of Ruth's live cello, the dedication of a thousand musicians' recorded works, and the maps of the 5Rhythms, we'll explore forms of devotion, in movement.

An invitation to explore some of this in the simple dance of your own being. No experience required.

A 'waves' level workshop
